PRODUCT AND PRICE

The purchase is a download of MAVEA BRAILLE for Windows, version 0.8.1, for a one-time payment of NOK 499. In Norway this includes 25% VAT: NOK 399.20 excluding VAT and NOK 99.80 VAT. Tax treatment for your address is shown at checkout. There is no shipping, subscription or automatic future charge.
This is a preview release for Windows 10/11 on a 64-bit Intel/AMD PC. Mac and iOS releases are not included. The product description and disclosed limitations at purchase form part of the agreement.

DELIVERY AND PAYMENT

Stripe processes payment. After completing payment you can access the download page. A receipt is emailed to the address provided. Keep the receipt, installer and these terms. Contact post@mavea.no if delivery or payment fails. Never email your full card number.

LICENCE

This release was previously published free of charge and remains under the MIT licence. Personal and business use, copying, modification and redistribution are allowed under that licence. Purchase does not grant exclusive rights or an activation key. Previous free copies and source code remain available on GitHub. The MIT text and third-party licences are included in the software. Licence disclaimers do not restrict mandatory consumer rights relating to this purchase.

UPDATES AND HELP

The delivered version has no time limit. Report faults to post@mavea.no. Bug-fix updates released for this version are included without another payment. Purchase is not a subscription to all future major versions or individual training. Necessary updates and other rights required by mandatory law remain applicable.

CONSUMER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, counted from the day after the contract is concluded, provided the legally required information has been supplied. We do not require you to waive this right to download immediately. Send a clear withdrawal notice before the deadline, for example to post@mavea.no. The form below is optional. Please include your name, purchase date and receipt number if available, but no card details. We reimburse without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the notice, normally using the original payment method and without a refund fee. Statutory extensions where required information is missing still apply.

FAULTS AND COMPLAINTS

Contact post@mavea.no about a defect, explaining the problem and when it occurred. Norwegian consumer purchases are covered by the Act on the supply of digital content and digital services (digitalytelsesloven) and the Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven). These terms do not restrict statutory remedies, including correction, price reduction, cancellation or damages, or mandatory protections applicable in your country. If we cannot resolve a consumer complaint, you may seek mediation through the Norwegian Consumer Authority: https://www.forbrukertilsynet.no/

PRIVACY
