Connect your mixer

1. Connect your Mac and WING to the same local network.
2. In the sidebar, turn off “Use Mock Engine (offline)” for live control.
3. Open Connection, choose “Find WING Automatically”, then Connect. Allow local network access if macOS asks.
4. Start in read-only Safe Mode. Turn on “Write Enabled (Safety)” when you want to change mixer settings.

Explore without a mixer

Turn on “Use Mock Engine (offline)” to explore the interface. Enable “Write Enabled (Safety)” to try simulated changes. Live metering, talkback audio, and hardware recording require a physical mixer.

Using VoiceOver and the keyboard

Open Help → Keyboard Shortcuts in the app for the full shortcut list. Help → Contact Support provides the email address, a copy button, and app version information.

If something does not work

• No mixer found: check that the Mac and WING are on the same local network, and that macOS allows local network access for WingVOControl.
• Controls do not change the mixer: check the connection, make sure the mock engine is off, and check “Write Enabled (Safety)”.
• For routing or talkback problems, tell us the microphone source, destination, and steps you tried. Do not change a live show setup just to reproduce a problem.

What to include in a report

• What you wanted to do, the steps you took, and what happened instead.
• WingVOControl and macOS versions, WING model, and mixer firmware version, if available.
• For accessibility issues: whether you used VoiceOver, the page or control involved, and what was spoken or missing.

Only send files or diagnostics you choose to share. Please leave out passwords and unrelated personal information. We use your report to investigate and plan fixes; we cannot promise a release date for a particular fix.
