Support for WingVO Remote

What the app controls

WingVO Remote provides channel levels and mute, input gain adjustments, DCA and bus levels and mute, Main LR levels and mute, signal status, local channel names, favorites, groups, and a Mute Center.

It is intended as a supplement to WingVOControl for Mac. The Mac app is not required: WingVO Remote connects directly to your physical Behringer WING mixer. This iPad app provides only selected controls, not the complete mixer workflow available in WingVOControl for Mac. It does not provide full EQ, dynamics, routing, effects, recording, or show control.

Connect your WING

1. Connect your iPad and WING to the same local network. Avoid guest Wi-Fi that isolates devices.
2. Open Connection, choose Find WING, or enter the mixer’s IPv4 address.
3. Choose Connect. Allow local network access when iPadOS asks.
4. Wait for mixer data before using live controls. Changing a level, gain, or mute can affect the live mix.

Mute confirmation

Connection contains an option to require confirmation before muting. Unmute commands are immediate. A pending mute confirmation closes after five seconds without applying a change.

Names, favorites, and groups

Open More on a channel to edit its local name, assign a group, or add it to Favorites or the Mute Center. Connection can import channel names from a .wingvocontrol preset file. This import updates local iPad names only; it does not apply mixer settings.

Troubleshooting

• If discovery fails, check the mixer IP address, local network permission under iPad Settings, and whether both devices can reach each other.
• If no state or meter data arrives, check the connection and console network settings. Live control and metering require a physical mixer.
• For VoiceOver feedback, include the affected screen or control and what was spoken or missing.

iPad orientation

Use the app in landscape with the charging port on the right. The mixer layout stays in this orientation. On smaller iPads, scroll the fader bank sideways and the navigation list vertically as needed.

VoiceOver and offline demo

The app uses labeled native sliders, buttons, fields, and switches. With VoiceOver, adjust a fader using its standard adjustable actions; its spoken value is in dB. The dark interface uses readable values and explicit mute and signal labels.

To explore without hardware, open Connection and choose Try Demo Mode. Sample channels can be edited without sending commands to a mixer. Live metering is unavailable in demo mode. Choose Exit Demo Mode in Connection to restore the previous mixer state.
